WWII Russian M17 Sohlberg Steel Helmet – Item 94659

Scarce and unusual Russian M17 Sohlberg steel helmet. Similar in style to the Adrian pattern helmet with domed stud air vent to crown. Retains much original olive drab combat paint finish. Complete with original leather three pad lining and leather chin strap. These helmets were used heavily in the early Soviet period and especially in the War against Finland. Original Russian owner’s initials scratched to back peak. Nice addition to any helmet collection.
