WWII Greek Fascists Leaders Side Cap – Item 101205

Rare WWII Greek Fascists Leaders side cap to the E.O.N (the Greek equivalent to the Hitler Youth). Dark blue wool cap with gold piping and Greek metal fascists badge to front. Complete with its original sweatband and lining. Shown on Pg 94 of Foreign Legions of the Third Reich by David Littlejohn.

Note:  Before the war an extreme right-wing and patriotic movement, the E.O.N National Youth Organisation had been formed by Alexandro Kanellopoulos. It was subdivided into two age groups.

Scaponfs 10-13 years and Phalangites 14-25 years

The E.O.N wore a blue uniform of forage cap, blouse shirt and ski trousers.
