British standard pattern WWII steel helmet. Stencilled to front with D B & Co F/5/1. Complete with original liner and elasticated chin strap. As worn by factory Home Front Fire Guards. Maker marked to lining DMB and date 1939. Good overall condition with 95% of its original dark paint finish.
