WWI Lusitania Sinking Propaganda Medal – Item 100130

Interesting WWI propaganda made medal of the German commemorative medal produced for the sinking of the Lusitania. Shows sinking British ship with skeleton issuing tickets to civilians queueing to board the ship. Comes complete in its original commemorative box of issue with Lusitania to front. In good condition and in its original box of issue. These medals produced by the British Government to show how the Germans celebrated the sinking of an English non-armed cruise ship.

Note:  The Lusitania was sunk by a German submarine on May 7th 1915. She had on board at the time 1951 passengers and crew, of which 1198 perished in the sinking.
