Third Reich Organisation Todt Document Grouping – Item 94684

Unusual group of three documents from the Reich Chancellery Central HQ of the Organisation Todt. Relates to the operational unit Viking (Norway). First document dated 1.3.44 to the Reich Chancellery of the Fuhrer Berlin from a Theodore Henke. Second document is communications between organisation Todt Group Viking in Norway and the third document communication from Organisation Todt to the Reich Chancellery dated 15.5.1944 outlining his service as a volunteer in 1942 as a construction supervisor. He states his loyalty and patriotic German to the Fuhrer and gives his party member number and that he served in WWI where he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class. He applies to be discharged from service in Operation Viking. There is a reply from the Organisation Todt Norway refusing his request. An interesting grouping worthy of further research.
