Africa campaign cuff title citation and wound badge in black citation. Documents all awarded to Oberfeldwevel Wilhelm Schmidt. All remain in good overall condition.

This regiment famously took part in defensive operations during the allied operation Black Cock. During this operation English speaking members of the regiment were sent on specialist patrols to infiltrate allied lines and cause confusion.
