Third Reich Germany Naval Admirals Cap – Item 112611

Third Reich German Naval Admirals peaked cap attributed to Kurt Von Dem Borne. Born 24.11.1845 in Bromberg and died 31.1.1946. This cap was originally owned by us back in the 1960s and had originally been sold by a member of his family. The cap is dark blue cloth with typical Naval large top. Double row of gold bullion oak leaves to peak and gold wire insignia. Blue silk lining with sweat diamond to crown with gold leaf maker. Unfortunately, this is now difficult to read. When I originally sold this cap it had a calling card of Admiral Borne, which unfortunately has been lost now over time.  Overall an excellent high ranking naval cap.
