Third Reich German Railways Officials Peaked Cap – Item 100987

Third Reich German Railways Officials peaked cap. Dark blue cap with lower black velvet band. Orange piped. White metal cockade, eagle and swastika. Blue flecked officers cords. Complete with leather sweatband and sweat diamond to crown of cap.  Good shape and only a couple of minor moth nips to pile.

Note:  The German Reichsbahn was the state railways nationally owned and was a public service operated on a self supporting financial basis. Uniforms during this period from 1933-45 were in similar appearance to that of the German army.
