Third Reich German Army Officers Dagger with Presentation Blade – Item 110218

Third Reich German Army Officers Dagger. Deep orange handle which at one time has been in a fire and has damage to rear of grip. Dagger cross guard has been de-nazified but what makes this dagger rare is its fully engraved blade with oak leaf foliage and is in excellent condition with all its original polish. Hard to read maker as under cross guard but believe it to be Eickhorn.  Due to the fire this has welded the grip to the blade and we have not been able to take the dagger apart. This is a good long term project who has time and patience as engraved Army daggers and rare and seldom found and command high prices.  Comes complete with correct pattern scabbard with one ring now missing. One for the dagger restorer.
