Third Reich German Army Camouflaged Helmet Cover – Item 104696

 A scarce and seldom found Official issue German Army three piece multi construction helmet cover. Herringbone material.  Splinter pattern one sided camouflaged cover with a number of rust strains to lower edge where attached to helmet at one time and minor damage to back lower drawstring area (where drawstring has torn through cloth). Complete with loops for camouflage attachment. A rare and seldom found cover. Similar example shown being worn on the Eastern Front on Pg 111 of German Army Uniforms and Insignia by Brian L Davis.
