Third Reich Gau Essen Gilt Grade Badge – Item 89430

Scarce badge for Gau Essen. Shows crossed hammers and date 1925 (Foundation of the Gau). And 1935 date of institution of the badge. Complete with its original pin back fixing. Reverse with pin fixing and Bonn manufacturer. Gilt version with just minor wear to finish. A scarce early Third Reich award.
