Third Reich Autographed Card of Hitler’s Personal Adjutant – Item 112608

Ink signed autograph from Hitler’s personal Adjutant Otto Gunsche. Complete with post war printed photo of him in SS uniform.

Originally a Schutzstaffel (SS) adjutant. From August 1943 to 5 February 1944, he fought on the Eastern Front and in France until March 1944 when he again was appointed a personal adjutant. He was present at the bomb plot to assassinate Hitler and also one of the last members to remain in the bunker and organise the burning of Hitler’s body after his suicide. He was captured by the Russians in 1945 and sent to a camp where he was released eventually from Bautzen Penitentiary on 2nd May 1956.
