Third Reich 10 Pfennig Vending Machine Pack of Coins – Item 106670

Interesting veteran bring back packet of 50 10 Pfennig coins, Still with original wrapping as they were liberated. Printed in German “South German Machine Vending Company Stuttgart”. These machines were widely used for the purpose of selling cigarettes, sweets and postage stamps etc. When Germany fell into the hands of liberating troops often the first port of call for looting were banks, post offices etc where these coins were liberated from by a British serviceman.
