Scottish Rifles Victorian Officers Shako – Item 110836

Officers 1869 pattern Shako of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Comes complete with its original storage tin named to leather sweatband Captain J A Smith. Blue cloth shako in overall good condition. Comes complete with stringed bugle shako plate to front and thistle decorated band and cap cords. Silk lining with some service wear and flaking. Leather chin strap. Makers mark to top of tin. A nice example of this hard to find shako.
