Rare Third Reich Hitler Youth Marine boys Naval Ratings Cap. Complete with its scarce enamelled blue diamond HJ badge to front. Full length cap tally marked “Olympiade 1936 Deutschland” and also “Kiel”. These Hitler Youth troops who competed in the sailing courses during the Olympics. Cap complete with original leather sweatband and Hitler Youth issue label. A scarce cap issued to those serving. Good condition.

Note:  Since Kiel was mainly a military port this committee had to cooperate not only with the local authorities but also with the German Fleet Command in Kiel to ensure the success of the races.
