Circa 1580 Italian Cabassett helmet. Dome pear shape design. Overall in good condition for age. Lining now absent. Provenance: Papal Armoury and sold by Fenton & Sons Ltd in 1918. Chance to own a good example of this early helmet. Style worn in many European countries in the 1500s.
