Field Marshal Montgomery Funeral Order and Pass – Item 95974

Interesting grouping of ephemera for the state funeral of Field Marsh Montgomery of Alamein. Consisting of Pass to the funeral, leaflet on St George’s Chapel where it was held, Order of Service which took place on 1 April 1976 and letter inviting Cpl Whitney who was part of his security team during WWII. All these items were a direct family purchase and relate to one of the most famous British Generals.
