Third Reich Luftwaffe special issue Russian Front heavy sheepskin ski cap. Complete with period sewn insignia and promoted in the field silver piping to crown for Officers issue.  RBNR Issue label to inside of cap and date 1943. These caps were specially produced for service on the Eastern Front because of excessive cold conditions encountered. Good condition.
