SAS Wartime Beret – Item 109306

Interesting early SAS beret. Fawn felt wool beret complete with its bevo cap insignia (period sewn). Beret with some moth tracking to top and sides. Interestingly the liner has been removed. This sometimes done by the soldier for comfort wear. Unusually has a black cotton edging to cap. Scarce and seldom found cap to this elite regiment.
