Third Reich SA Viktor Lutze Presentation Dagger – Item 105842

Third Reich SA Mans Dagger. Excellent wooden grip with eagle and emblem. Nickel mounts to dagger. Lower cross guard marked TH to reverse. Clean blade with only minor finger staining. Clear motto and manufacturers name “Gebr.Heller”. Has interesting period dedication to reverse of blade translated as “In True Comradeship Viktor Lutze” . Complete with its correct pattern nickel mounted anodised scabbard. Overall a nice un-touched and un-taken apart dagger. All screws intact.

Note: Viktor Lutze was a German Nazi Party functionary and the commander of the Sturmabteilung who succeeded Ernst Röhm as Stabschef and Reichsleiter. After he died from injuries received in a car accident, Lutze was given an elaborate state funeral in Berlin on 7 May 1943
