Third Reich NSFK Leaders Kepi – Item102475

Scarce and seldom found Third Reich NSFK Colonels Kepi.  Blue serge wool kepi with silver piping to crown and silver tress to skirt sides. Complete with correct pattern NSFK eagle and swastika to front. Retains all its original wash to badge.  Complete with original leather chin strap.  Inside complete with original leather sweatband and liner. One small pin head moth nip to underneath of peak but not visible from outside. An excellent example of this high ranking Kepi.

Note:  The NSFK was a Para military organisation and was a State Registered to The Reichs Minister for Air Command in the German Air Force. Its Commander in Chief Alfred Keller was an active Luftwaffe General directly responsible to Goring. Its principle task was to make all Germans air minded and to stress the role of air power in modern warfare.  In wartime its functions were maintaining schools to train pilots, and giving instructions to the flieger section of the Hitler Youth. Producing a constant flow of skilled personnel for the Luftwaffe.
