Imperial German Naval U Boat U35 Sextant – Item 102175

Imperial German marine marked and dated 1914 U Boat issue Naval Sextant. Complete with various moving parts and in good condition for age. Marked with Imperial crown and marine stampings  to U35. Base marked with Hamburg maker.

Note: U35 was one of the most successful U boats in WWI sinking 220 merchant ships in the Mediterranean. At the end of the war having been captured by the British was broken up in Blyth. Probably when the sextant was removed as a souvenir.
