Third Reich Military Wehrpass to a Roman Catholic Priest – Item 96656

Unusual and seldom found military wehrpass (Service record book) issued to a Roman Catholic priest called up on 19.1.1940 and posted to a Medical Reserve & Training Unit in Soest. Recalled to the colours on 22.5.1943 and posted to a Medical Reserve Unit 6 in the 3rd Grenadier Regiment on 20.8.1943 and saw service on the Eastern Front. Hospitalised on 22.9.1943 with skin disease/foot deformity. Last entry for his unit Army Medical Detachment Rheine on 19.12.1944. Wehrpass is in good condition and has good uniform photo wearing his priests cassock. Scarce and seldom found.
