Third Reich Luftwaffe Air Ace Pilots License – Item 96129

Third Reich Luftwaffe Pilots licence issued to Lt Johannes Bunzek as an Officer Candidate attending a course at the Luftwaffe War School Nr 4 at Furstenfeldbruck 18.7.1942. His licence permits for the 108 Trainer and Bf109 & variants. His full licence being signed by the School Chief Officer on 18.7.1943. Pass contains photograph of him in uniform and in good overall condition.

Note:  Bunzek served with 7/JG 52 on the Eastern Front. He had a total of 75 air victories ad 30 unconfirmed. He held the German Cross 1944, Honour Goblet 1943 and the Knights Cross (posthumously) 1944.  He was shot down over the bridge head of Nikopol (Soviet Union) on 11.12.1943. Note enclosed in German.
