Third Reich German Air Force Grouping – Herman Goring Division – Item 95151

Interesting grouping to a German Paratrooper in the Herman Goring Division. Consisting of studio portrait photograph wearing the very rare early double zip front smock. Back of card signed and dated 1940. Comes complete for his award document for the wound badge in black. Awarded when he was a staff corporal and a member of the lst parachute Panzer Grenadier Regiment Herman Goring Division. He was wounded 12.1.1945. He was awarded by the Chief Doctor at the reserve hospital Wilhelmstal 15.2.1945. Also comes with his original state labour service record booklet issued 23.4.1936 before going into the armed forces. Plus four other period shot photographs in uniform etc. An interesting grouping to one of the elite German airborne regiments.
