Third Reich Admiral Scheer Postcard Photo and Envelope – Item 94765

Interesting Third Reich postcard photo posted from the Admiral Scheer. Posted in Keil in 1935 by a crewman with the ships official stamp during Naval week. The Admiral Scheer was commissioned in 1934 and was the most successful of the heavy ships as a commerce raider. It did blockade duty during the Spanish Civil War. Complete with official envelope. Excellent condition.
