WWI British Mild Steel Combat Helmet – Item 94669

Scarce WWI British mild steel combat helmet. Retains much of its original early khaki paint finish. Fluted shell. Complete with its original leather and sacking lining with leather sweat band. These helmets were produced in Birmingham circa 1916 for use at the front. There are a number of photos of British officers at the front wearing this style helmet. A nice rare variation WWI helmet.
