WWI Naval Cadets Uniform Serving on HMS Ganges – Item 94087

WWI period Royal Naval full uniform (jacket, with bid, trousers and cap) for a Naval young cadet. From the training ship HMS Ganges. Good overall condition with all its original insignia. Scarce to find this complete. Mounted on later mannequin with glass eyes. We are selling this without the mannequin due to size and shipping costs. Will offer the mannequin free to anyone who can collect only with the uniform. (note mannequin for display only and not included)

Note:  HMS Ganges was a training ship and later stone frigate of the Royal Navy. She was established as a boys’ training establishment in 1865, and was based aboard a number of hulks before moving ashore. She was based alternately in Falmouth, Harwich and Shotley.
