Third Reich Waffen SS Skanderbeg Arm Badge – Item 110952

Third Reich Waffen SS National Sleeve Shield. As worn by Divisional members of the Waffen SS Gebirgs Division. Good condition. Shows Albanian eagle on red shield. Similar example shown on Pg 360 Cloth Insignia of the SS by Angola.

Note: In existence for only about six months the formation was made up of Albanian Muslims. These Albanians caused nothing but trouble. When the unit was broken up, the German Cadre was transferred to the Division Prinz Eugen as the SS Gebrigs/Jager Regiment 14.
