Third Reich SS Mans Killed in Action Paperwork Grouping – Item 111863
Interesting one mans grouping of documents to SS Man Wilhelm Kuhlmann. Consisting of studio portrait photo of Kuhlmann in his Hitler Youth uniform. Larger portrait photo wearing HJ shirt and snapshot photo when he joined the SS wearing combat helmet. Paperwork consists of his promotion document to SS Sturmmann on 1.6.1941, serving with SS Westland Division. A promotion document to the rank of SS Rottenfuhrer with lst SS Regiment Germania, signed by his SS Commander, 1.6.1942. Another letter to his parents forwarding his property of their heroic son after his death in the field 12.10.1942. Another letter sent from the field to the family of Kuhlmann dated 10.12.1942 forwarding as a memento the Iron Cross 2nd Class awarded to their son and signed by the Company Commander. Certificate sent to the family and signed by Lt Colonel. Plus an accompanying slip from the registrars office in Hannover 12.6.1943 forwarding their sons death certificate marked Fallen in the East. Death certificate for the 21 year old killed in action in Pawlodolski – Russia and signed by the registrar on 25.10.1943. Also a single sheet CV written in pencil of his military history. Confirming him winning the Iron Cross and the Infantry Assault Badge in Silver. Interesting grouping of 8 documents and 3 photos of this HJ to Waffen SS soldier killed in action on the Russian Front.
