Spanish Blue Division commemorative medal. Comes complete with its original ribbon and fixing bar. Complete with associated cardboard box of issue. Issued from the Spanish Government.

The Spanish medal was instituted in January 1944 at the Direction of Hitler to recognised the service rendered by some 19,000 Spanish volunteers in the German Army who fought on the Russian Front between 1941 – 1943.  The Division bore the honorary title to the Blue Division.
