Third Reich Luftwaffe Afrika Korps POW Ski Cap – Item 94063

A unique and unusual personalised Luftwaffe Afrika Korps POW Ski Cap. Bleached white cotton cloth cap with red cotton lining with herringbone sweatband. Front with hand stitched Luftwaffe eagle on tropical background. The cap appears to be made from a grain sack and is embroidered to the side with DAK, a palm tree and 1943. This cap was worn by a Luftwaffe POW from North Africa and when he was held in captivity in the UK the cap was given to a local Sussex butcher who then sold it on. This is a chance to own a uniquely made Afrika Korps ski cap.
