KCMG Cased Set Awarded to Sir William Grey Ellison McCartney – Item 111285

Pristine condition cased Distinguished order of St Michael & St George . Complete with its Garrards case of issue. Consisting of large enamelled neck order complete with original ribbon and matching enamel and silver gilt breast star.  All enamel in excellent condition and with all its original finish. Attributed to Sir William Grey Ellison McCartney, who was appointed Knight Commander of the Order in 1913 and was Governor of Tasmania. An impressive set of awards.
