Home Front N.H.S.R. Brodie Helmet – Item 111201

WWII Brodie Helmet painted black stencilled  on white with the N.H.S.R. to the front and reverse. N.H.S.R is for the National Hospital Service Reserve. The helmet has its original elasticised webbing chinstrap. Helmet to the inside is size marked but no date visible. St Johns Ambulance Service helpers helmet during WWII.

These helmets were later reconditioned for the cold war nuclear threat.
