Distinguished Order of St Michael & St George Set – Item 111284

Cased Distinguished Order of St Michael & St George (KCMG). Consisting of enamelled breast star in silver gilt with perfect enamel work and complete with original pin back fixing. Also complete with neck award with original ribbon. Attributed to Sir William Grey Ellison-McCartney, Governor of Tasmania (appointed 31.12.1912). Awards contained in their original Garrard, London case of issue.  A most impressive cased award.
