Stone mint and seldom found in this condition Officers Home Service Helmet of the Duke of Wellingtons West Riding Regiment. Excellent mint condition blue cloth helmet with all fittings retaining 100% gilt finish. Complete with link chain chin strap and mint silk and leather lining. Manufacturers marks of Hawkes & Co London. Original owners name under sweatband. Probably one of the best examples of a British Home Service Helmet we have had.
