Third Reich Army Berlin Defender Paperwork Grouping – Item 99157

Interesting late war document grouping to a Berlin defender. Consisting of documents to a 52 year old WWI veteran and now a specialist military examiner of the Army High command Armaments Inspectorate. Included is his Wehrpass issued 6.4.1944. Comes with a soldiers leave paper dated 17.1.1945, issued by the district command Berlin. Also a leave pass dated 31.5.1945 in Berlin whilst awaiting further deployment orders. At this period of time Berlin was surrounded by Soviet Russian forces. An interesting group of items relating to the siege of Berlin where heavy fighting continued to the end of the war and very few documents survived to these units. An interesting grouping worthy of further research.
